This series of still life paintings are a result of integrating what I learnt over the course of six weeks at the Florence Academy of Art (March/April 2016) where I was taught to work from life under natural light using the tradition of the masters of the past, and translating nature in a way that is both anatomically accurate and artistically beautiful.
