While Yoshida's Niagara Falls was a horizontal composition in the dai oban size (approx. 12 by 18 in.), Binnie presents a very large vertical composition of a completely different vantage (from the American side looking towards Canada), depicting the American Falls in the middle ground and the Horseshoe Falls behind.
