El Jimador’s Beautiful Chaos Campaign is celebrating Day of the Dead with a series of unique skulls, created by a selection of hand picked international artists. Each skull was made in memory of an individual who has inspired the artist and who has passed away. Pierpoint chose to base his skull design on my Granddad who was a big inspiration to him. One of his great achievements was his involvement in building the famous Queen Mary cruise ship, so Pierpoint wanted this to be a big part of the piece. He also wanted to incorporate his Scottish heritage which he did by making use of tartan patterns in the ship's hull.
