The Scandinavian Skogsrå (roughly, “Lady of the Forest”) is a folkloric creature that presides over the woods. A protector of wild animals, she can also extend her generosity to mankind - making sure the shots from their weapons never miss and waking them when there are fires. However, she is most known for her fondness in leading men astray and to their doom. From the front, she has the appearance of a beautiful woman but from the back she is as hollow as an old tree trunk.
