After Aditya's birth in 1906, Dutilh stopped painting and dedicated herself to making embroideries and wall hangings. She worked according to her own design, but also to those of others, including friend artist Otto Freundlich. In 1913 she began drawing again and painting again a few years later. She exhibited her abstract and sometimes cube-oriented work, including in Rotterdam (1910), Amsterdam (1912) and Berlin (1913). Her work was also shown and sold in the United States. Her drawing Fantômas (1914) was published on the cover of the avant-garde German magazine Die Aktion.
