L'Héré de Mallet by Charles Rennie Mackintosh

This strange geological formation is a deposit of alluvial sand that was pushed upwhen the Pyrenees were formed. Withing the sand are boulders of harder rock, which erode more slowly and so become isolated on top of high columns. Locally they are known as Les Orgues.
