Two gypsy women and two white women; the white women sitting on a divan with a gypsy woman in between. The second gypsy woman with child sitting on the floor in front of the divan. The white women with black stockings and high heels. The place is the attic of Kalverstraat 37 (corner Gapersteeg). In 1922 in the Stedelijk Museum exhibited this painting with the title: "Bohemian, white and brown. Gypsies who came to the studio to sign up for modeling in conversation with models present there." In 1925 at Kleykamp exhibited with the title:" Blank and brown, workshop scene (Gypsies who come to sign up to pose, in conversation with city models).
