This work is a b/w photography of an environmental art installation by Frank R. Lehberger, assembled in the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in early winter 2011. It is an hommage to traditional ophidian spirits, tiny guardians of the land, water, eco-system of the Himalayas & Tibet. They are venerated all over India, the Himalayas+Tibet, where they are referred to as: 'gLu' ( ཀླུ་། pronounced like the English name 'Lou'). In India, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia they are known as 'Nagas'.
