Enneking was considered one of the most influential artists of Impressionism in Boston. When Dennis Bunker was unsure of his art career, he went to Enneking, then President of the Boston Art Club, for inspiration. Enneking's brushwork is thick and developed swirls of bold, juxtaposed colors.
