Juan Cristóbal González Quesada Born 05-25-1897 Ohanes. Almeria.
Juan Cristóbal worked stone, bronze and wood. In his style the most classic Italian Hellenism and Quattrocento converge with the contemporary currents, combining in their language the symbolism and the realism.

He specialized in urban art and monumental images. They are his work, among many others, the majestic Cid Campeador on horseback of Burgos, the monument to Julio Romero de Torres de Córdoba or the statues of Manuel de Falla and Ángel Ganivet existing in Granada. He also portrayed Indalecio Prieto or Ramón Pérez de Ayala.
