“I think of my landscapes as a puzzle within a series of decisive moments where truth and fiction are not as important as beauty. In this new series of work, I explore the idea of finding that connection in the landscape image. I think of this approach as the ‘staged document’. My intention is not to report or tell a story. Instead I use people in the landscape to illustrate the content, concept, idea and form. My ideas are in search of gesture and details within the composition. These conceptual landscapes can be both found and staged situations.”
Ken is internationally published and the co-author of a book on adoption (Be my Baby) as well as having his photogra- phy displayed in many galleries in the the USA.
