Fabrizio Arrieta (San José, 1982) lives and works in Costa Rica.
His work is based on the concept that personal identity is an unstable value,
transmitted by a great deal of factors.
He uses “painting” as a visual language to ask about his own transformation mechanisms,
its possible meanings, directions and diffuse boundaries; about his potentials and limitations – after the many declared “demises” of painting from the 19th century to today.
